
We’ve got Broadway star Rebecca LaChance popping in to treat us to an exclusive live performance of a song from Give My Regards to Broadway on 27 June at 3pm.
Give My Regards to Broadway a new musical review celebrating New York’s Greatest Showtunes from 1902 – 1942 will receive it’s world premiere at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, Highgate Village from 17th July – 5th August 2018.
LaChance comes to London direct from starring as Carole King in the US Tour of ‘Beautiful: the Carole King Musical’, after previously appearing in the Broadway production. Other credits include Mabel in Chichester Festival Theatre’s ‘Mack and Mabel’.
Joining her will be Ben Lancaster, Albert Linsdell and Thea Butler.
This all singing, all dancing energetic new musical revue will take you on an exciting journey down the ‘Great White Way’! Featuring some of the greatest melodies and lyrics written between 1902 and 1942, with songs from George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern and Harold Arlen.
Directed by Harry Blumenau, who has just returned from his New York debut, with choreography by 2018 Offie Award Winner Chris Whittaker (Top Hat at The Gatehouse). Musical Director is Ashley Jacobs and the show will feature all new musical arrangements by Lawrence Michalowski. Lighting Design is by Ali Hunter with Sound Design by Phil Wilson.
